"Did it!" That was the text message I sent on completing my nine-day tour from north of Pittsburgh (McKees Rocks) to Washington, DC. That's a very happy Historian grabbing the Milepost 0 marker on the C &O Canal Towpath in Georgetown. I'll be posting the full story of the ride over the next week or so, along with other tales of my misadventures over the summer months. Stay tuned.

Looking forward to the report, Neil. As I have only done the C&O part you are ahead of me, but I want to do the trail from Cumberland to Pittsburgh next year. Well done!
